Charnwood Borough Council
We have worked with Charnwood Borough Council and their contractor Serco on a number of campaigns. This has included recycling service changes and promotion of their subscribed for garden waste collections.
These are a few examples of work from the garden waste promotion which was carried out with the clear aim of increasing the number of subscriptions and the amount of garden waste recycled.
Promotional leaflets
At the start of the project we developed a clear and recognisable brand and visual identity which would be used for all the garden waste recycling promotions material. 'Special offer' leaflets were produced and mailout to all households in the district who were not already subscribing to the scheme.

This was supported with press advertising, displays and vehicle livery. This initial promotion was very successful and created a bust of new subscriptions.

Promotions have also included one-off days where garden waste and household organics were collected at locations across the district. Posters, newspaper advertising, displays and vehicle livery were used to spread the message.

To take advantage of the councils fleet of collection vehicles, livery was designed to promote the service. This was adapted for use across the various vehicle types and dimensions.
